BinzBinz is the most famous and interesting East sea resort on Rügen, Germany's biggest and most beautiful island. Because of its mild bracing climate and approx. 2,000 hours of sunshine per year, it is entitled to call itself officially health resort. Binz' architecture is typical for the old resorts and reflects the charming turn of the century era. The landscape has many contrasting features limited to relatively small space. The sea in the Northeast, the Granitz forests in the East, pine woods in the Northwest, and the Schmachter Lake in the Southwest are all beautiful areas worth visiting. |
